The band are booked for a monthly residency at The Troubadour Club, headlining a new regular 'Blues&Grooves Night' at this historic venue.

BluesMix are booked to play at The Troubadour Club on New Year's Eve. This should be a fantastic night and various ticket options are available for dinner or no dinner. Free bubbly is included in the price. Regular drummer Mimi is away for this gig but the band are delighted to have the amazing Sam Kelly playing on drums that night. A new album is currently being recorded! The band have completed a number of original songs for a new CD release later this year. Recording has been at Cowshed Recording Studio with Joe Leach and Teo Miller who have recorded/produced the likes of Robert Plant, The Blues Band, Placebo, Ian Shaw, Blur.

BluesMix are playing with the fantastic Matt Schofield Trio on September 22nd at The Troubadour. Matt was recently named one of the top 10 British Blues guitar players ever by Guitar&Bass magazine. His last CD was named CD of the week by the Independent newspaper. Paul Jones of Radio 2 named him "one of the brightest hopes we have today". MOJO magazine awarded their album 4 stars.
